After a couple of days off the trail waiting in Plasencia for the weather to break, Sunday afternoon we rejoined the Camino in a pretty little town, Aldeanueva. We spent much of the afternoon and evening hanging at a sidewalk cafe bar at the Asociacion des Pensionistas. All the locals were friendly and greeted us although they didn't really try to strike up conversation.
This morning we hit the trail at first light. We arrived and settled into Banos, a resort-spa town before noon. The temperature seems to be moderating and tomorrow we will have a longer walking day.
