Since 2008, we have been annually walking a part of The Way of St. James in France, Spain, and Portugal. It is a 1,000 year old pilgrimage trail that winds all over Europe and ends in Santiago Spain. In Spain it is called El Camino de Santiago de Compostela. In France, it is Le Chemin de St. Jacques. In Portugal, it is known simply as La Ruta Portuguesa.
We teach a class on the practicalities of hiking the Camino. Having gathered abundant materials for the class, we established a website to share them more broadly. There, we also have our blog about our walks each year. You can find the website and blog at Camino Dreaming.
We taught our class in January and February this year, trained all spring for our 2015 walk, and walked in France and Spain from Mid May to mid June. Enjoy the stories and photos on the Camino Dreaming Blog
